Kiku Sharda is one of the busiest actors on television, with a huge fan following that laps up everything that he offers. This was at a time, when Sunil Grover was ruling the roost as ‘Gutthi’ in the show, and ‘Palak’ was not that popular. After he left the show, it was left to Kiku to fill the void and he did it so well that he was indispensable to the show. Then Kiku also began to play various characters like ‘Pankhuri’ and ‘Laccha’ bringing the whole house down with his antics.

Kiku Sharda may impress people with his dance steps as ‘Palak’s signature moves’ but the actor is not a trained dancer. Despite a busy schedule, the 5 feet 3 inch tall Kiku loves the adulation. He says, “But I love the challenge of being in so many places at the same time. Which other actor has appeared in one-half of a dance show as a girl and in the second-half as a man?”

Is he a trained actor?
Kiku says that he is not a trained actor. Kiku adds, “What is more in comedy, you are born with it. Comedy cannot be taught, it has to be embedded in you. You can spot a happy or funny person by the way he reacts to situations, makes jokes, keeps the atmosphere light and jovial. I believe that if you are a happy person by nature, you radiate happiness and joy in other people’s lives. People who do not take life too seriously, always make for a good company. And in our field of humor, there are not many people who are that way, which makes it easy.
