Early life and education
Kareena Kapoor was born on September 21, 1980 to the famous actor duo Randhir Kapoor and Babita in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She is the younger of the two siblings and her elder sister, Karishma Kapoor is a famous Bollywood actress as well. She has always been regarded as the menace in the house.
She pursued her schooling primarily from Jamnabai Narsee School and later switched to Welham’s Girls School as per her mother’s wishes. Although she didn’t like the idea of studying there but later got used to it. Later, she enrolled herself in the Mithibai College which is located in Vile Parle, Mumbai and studied commerce. She also earned a three month course degree from the Harvard University in microcomputers. She even got inclined to law and enrolled herself in Government Law College in Mumbai before finally settling down to give the acting career a try.

Kareena Kapoor married the famous Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan on October 16, 2012 in a private ceremony in Bandra and later had their reception ceremony in The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. The couple are expecting their first born and are all set to welcome the newest addition to the family soon.
The 1.65 meter tall Kareena also has two step-children, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan who are Saif’s children from his first marriage with Amrita Singh.
