Sugandha Garg is a Bollywood actress, TV anchor and singer. She is the wife of MTV Roadies host and producer, Raghu Ram. The actress was born on June 13, 1977 in Hyderabad. She studied in Maitreyi College before getting into hosting TV shows. The first TV program that she hosted was ‘Haath se Haath Mila’ for BBC, when she was just eighteen years old. She then went on to host a couple of shows for Fox Traveller which included ‘It Happens Only in India’.
The 5 feet 2 inch Sugandha Garg has also done theater and participated in plays like ‘Sometimes’ and ‘I have gone Marking’. She also sang the Assamese song ‘Tokari’ in Coke Studio Season 2 for MTV.
Sugandha Garg debuted in Bollywood as Aditi (Genelia Dsouza’s) chirpy friend Shaleen. She also worked in movies like Let’s Dance, My Name is Khan, Tere Bin Laden, Patang and Ceylon. She has also acted as a BPO employee in British. Her upcoming movie in 2015 is Coffee Bloom.
About her famous husband Raghu Ram’s infamous temper, the chirpy wife says, “What Raghu is in Roadies, that is his work. When he is with me, he is quite chilled out. So I really don’t know. If he does lose his temper, our pet dog Zuk Zuk calms him down.”
