Rashmi Desai – Husband, Divorce Reports and Affair Rumors
Rashmi Desai tied the knot with her Uttaran co-star Nandish Sandhu on February 12, 2012. The couple got married in Dholpur.Their relationship however soon hit the rocks. It was not something that came out of thin air; trouble was brewing between the couple for quite some time and their marriage was not working. It was believed that Rashmi had even begun the procedure of filing her papers for divorce and that she did not want to reconcile in any manner.
One of the primary reasons for Rashmi’s discontent with Nandish was his flirtatious nature. It was also alleged that he was having an affair. Desai was also not happy that Nandish was giving her less attention and spending all his time partying with his male friends. It was also rumored that Nandish physically and mentally abused her.
Close friends of Nandish however strongly defended him and stated that Nandish is not the kind of guy to raise his hand on a woman, especially his wife. They also argued that he is not the type of guy who will fool around with other women when in a relationship. The fact was that the two were not compatible with each other. Nandish was also not happy with his marriage to Rashmi; her murky past in the Bhojpuri film industry was a major grouse.
It was also reported that before meeting Nandish, Rashmi was in a relationship with an elderly man belonging to the Bhojpuri film industry. She dropped him after she met Nandish. His friends were totally against their marriage and told him that it would be a huge mistake. They argued that it was Rashmi who broke up the relationship between Aradhana and Nandish. Desai cozied up to Nandish during the shooting of Uttaran episodes and manipulated him into believing that they would make a fantastic couple. Another story that is doing the rounds is that Ravi Kissen did not want to work with Desai as she was too flirty. This caused her to lose out on working in some major Bhojpuri movies.
Rashmi and Nandish found fame as a couple during their stint in Uttaran. They looked as if they were very much in love and had a fairytale wedding. The story about their separation was therefore a big surprise and shock for everyone. The couple has quit from Uttaran so that they could concentrate more on their marriage and personal life. Things however did not proceed as expected and Rashmi moved back to her parents’ house after a few months. The couple initially denied the news about their split, but each of them attended events separately, which is one of first signs of relationship trouble.
Currently, Nandish does accept the fact that Rashmi and he are experiencing relationship troubles, but they are working towards resolving it. Like any other normal couple, they had problems and are now trying to mend the broken bridges, and live happily ever after. That is why they chose to stay away from media glare over the past months. Here’s wishing them all the best!
