At the Nach Baliye 6 finals, the swelte actress turned heads with her slim figure that showed off her flat belly in a saree. Shilpa reveals her secret of how she got back her enviable shape and turned even more slimmer post pregnancy. She says, ” For 5 months after Viaan was born, I didn’t care much about my weight. But then I was not able to do things that I used to do before I was pregnant. I had piled on 20 kilos. I realized this when I had bent to pick up Viaan. Then I went back to my exercise regime and I lost 18 kilos in five and a half months exercise. ”
Shilpa says that it is easy for new mommies to lose weight. She adds, ” It is just about exercising an hour a day everyday for four or six days a week and eating right. Mothers tend to make excuse that they do not have time for exercising as they are looking after the child. But that is just being lazy. For the first nine months, a child sleeps a lot. Moms can use this time to do cardios and gyming.”
