- Singham Returns – Made with a budget of INR 115 crore (US$19 million, this Rohit Shetty directed, Ajay-Devgan-Kareena starrer made a business of INR156.77 crore (US$25 million) in 3 weeks. This means a profit of 41 crores.
- Kick – Marketed with lots of hoopla and moolah, Kick had a grand release this Eid. Salman Khan promised to bang the box-office and he did quite convincingly. Made with a budget of Rs.1 billion (US $16 million), it went on do a stupendous business of Rs. 3.60 billion ($58 million).
- Bang Bang! – Made with a budget of INR 140 crore ($23 million), this Hrithik Roshan runaway blockbuster went on to do a business of INR 340 crore ($55 million).
- Happy New Year– Made with a budget of Rs. 1.50 billion($24 million), the movie has gone to do a business of Rs. 2.45 billion ($40 million) in the first week.
Singham Returns was mostly action-packedmixed with Rohit Shetty-brand of comedy.
Kick was the most ‘masala’ powered of the lot with great songs, action, comedy, thrills, romance and a bit of melodrama towards the penultimate moments.
Bang Bang! was a racy action movie with excellent locales.
Happy New Year was predominantly comedy with a dance theme.
